Snowmobiling / Sleds

Snowmobiling is a hugely popular sport all across North America. Once you've really been snowmobiling, you'll know why!

That said, snowmobiling isn't as easy as it looks. That's why we start every snowmobile trip with a technique training day.

There are lots of different snowmobile trips starting from Fairbanks. Half-day and day trips are just as possible as multi-day trips where we stay in small self-catering cabins or special tents (»wall tents« with their own stove). The trips follow trails designated specifically for snowmobiles, because nature comes first! An experienced guide makes sure you always take the right route. »Playing« in deep snow is allowed in suitable areas, but if you get stuck, you dig yourself out. Our guides don't get paid for digging, after all.

Snowmobiling is also an excellent option for down days while heliskiing, when the helicopter can't take off because of the weather.

Experienced riders can head out with a second person (guide or guest) to reach untouched ski and snowboard runs. Meanwhile, less experienced riders can work on their technique, because snowmobiling in deep snow takes a lot of practice.

Skijoring is possible too: you get pulled behind the snowmobile on skis or a snowboard – a ton of fun!
